Mark Dawidziak

Mark Dawidziak has written or edited about 25 books. He has been a theater, film and television critic for more than 35 years. The TV critic at the Cleveland Plain Dealer since 1999, he is the author of three books about landmark TV series: The Columbo Phile, The Night Stalker Companion, and, most recently, Everything I Need to Know I Learned in The Twilight Zone. Also an internationally recognized Mark Twain scholar, he has written or edited five Twain-centric books, including Mark My Words: Mark Twain on Writing. And he has been portraying Twain on stage for almost 40 years. Working the spooky side of the street he has written a horror novel (Grave Secrets), non-fiction books (The Bedside, Bathtub & Armchair Companion to Dracula), short stories and comic book scripts. An adjunct professor at Kent State University, he is the co-founder of Ohio’s Largely Literary Theater Company.
