About Neil Gaiman

Neil Gaiman is an award-winning author whose works include the comic book series The Sandman and novels American GodsCoraline, and The Graveyard Book. Gaiman has also written numerous screenplays, including a script for an episode of Doctor Who and the 1996 original BBC TV series Neverwhere. His novel, American Gods, was turned into a critically acclaimed TV series on Stars. Gaiman’s work has also been adapted for film, including Stardust (starring Robert DeNiro and Michelle Pfeiffer); Coraline (an Academy Award nominee); Sandman (currently in development as a major motion picture), and How to Talk to Girls at Parties, an upcoming movie based on Gaiman’s short story of the same name. Born in England, Gaiman lives in the United States where he teaches at Bard College.
